My Approach to Helping
I believe everyone has the right to be heard and feel important and empowered. I believe that each individual is special and unique. This is why I have created an individualized and unique model that will meet each individual where they are and help you to reach the goals that you have for your life. Since no two people are the same, no two therapies are exactly the same either. Therapy begins with creating a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe and therefore ready to begin creating the life you want. Together, we will identify what is the life you want and what you are willing to do to get there. I believe that therapy is a partnership and a journey and it is a privilege to share that journey with you.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I can honestly say that I love my job! I love everything about my job. I consider it an honor and privilege to be selected by an individual to help them through their life's journey. As I remember the impact of that first person that took time out of their life to care about me, I consider it my pleasure to do the same for the individuals that I work with. I sincerely care about the growth of each person that I work with. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk with you on your journey and witness your progression as you reach the life of your dreams.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
'Normal' people go to therapy. This is a statement that I make on a regular basis because it is very true. Therapy needs are as individual as those seeking therapy. I believe that it takes strength and courage to make that first call and I celebrate that as your first accomplishment. For some, therapy is simply a place to 'get things off your chest', while other's needs are more specific. The real empowerment comes from the realization and acceptance that we can all benefit from therapy and that can only make us stronger.
