My Approach to Helping
I have used an eclectic approach to treatment and utilize best practice and evidence based models such as client driven methods to meet individual needs. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic techniques, I aim to assist individuals in the development of their treatment goals and movement through change. Development of therapeutic rapport in a safe and judgment free environment helps individuals with the ability to process underlying causes that contribute to their discomfort.
In addition to counseling, I spend time with family, exercising, and spending time near lakes just enjoying nature.
