My Approach to Helping
I offer individual and family sessions to honor the person's process and work toward achieving wholeness. I believe it is an honor to work with clients while they explore their challenges on the journey back to themselves.
In my mindfulness-based compassion practice, I help clients connect with themselves. If it is clinically appropriate, I also use walk and talk therapy with clients. This allows us to share space outside to connect for our sessions.
The children, teens, and adults I work with often have experienced:
Depression and anxiety
Grief and loss
Life transitions
Trauma
Substance abuse issues
Belonging and gender identity
Life transitions such as grief, loss, death, divorce, break-ups, career changes, and retirement.
Additionally, I provide supervision to Associate Social Workers.
