My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from North Park University.
I have experience working with adults of all ages struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, co-dependency, relationships, and life transition issues, including young adulthood, marriage, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, separation, divorce, and grief. I work to meet clients where they are, and I utilize many techniques, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), existential, humanist, Gestalt, and internal family systems (IFS). My theoretical orientation is person-centered, humanistic, and existential.
I have worked as a paralegal in estate planning and family law, and I am certified as a Divorce Mediator.
