My Approach to Helping
Life is hard! I recognize and understand that sometimes life will throw us a curveball when we least expect it. It may feel difficult to get out of bed in the morning, struggle to parent your child, grieve the loss of a child you once had, or struggle with relationship difficulties. Therapy can be a great opportunity to get a new perspective or an objective point of view. I can help you re-claim your increased self-worth or assist you with re-framing constant negative thoughts.
My name is Michelle Corley, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Tulane University with a Master’s in Social Work. I am trained in maternal mental health by Postpartum Support International. I have also received certifications in Family Practice and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
As a woman who has struggled with infertility and pregnancy loss, I understand those feelings all too well. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I am currently seeing individuals and couples at this time. Please reach out when you are ready to talk.
