Self knowledge can lead to change
Psychotherapy is an opportunity to clarify difficulties which you experience in your life. My approach to therapy is to explore these areas of difficulty and to discover the underlying causes. If you are feeling stuck, sad, anxious, stressed, angry or alone, we will work together to process those feelings and to discover what led to them, in a non-judgmental and confidential environment. I create a trusting, supportive and collaborative space which fosters personal growth and change.
We will look inward and question assumptions you make about yourself, decisions you make in life, the relationships you choose and try to understand how certain patterns and beliefs may have hindered your ability to have the type of life you would like. By gaining a better understanding of yourself, you can work to resolve problematic patterns and find a greater sense of fulfillment.
I have had extensive training in psychodynamic therapy and couples therapy.
