My Approach to Helping

I am passionate about working with people who are experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, recovering from trauma, PTSD, and/or facing a life transition that is affecting their lives. No matter what challenges you face, I will be there as your advocate and to help empower you. You are capable of change and you deserve happiness and peace of mind, and this is your first step to that path. I offer a warm, respectful, non-judgmental environment. I will work with you in a collaborative manner to help you develop your coping skills and help you move forward.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based practices including guided imagery and meditation. Sessions are tailored specifically for you based on preferences, beliefs, and goals. As a person-centered therapist, I believe that our collaboration is one of the most important factors for change.

I have learned that "where there is a will, there is a way" no matter how big the problem is. I look forward to meeting you and developing a relationship to help you on your journey. Take a deep breath and remember, every little thing is gonna be alright.

More Info About My Practice

I am located in the Orlando area near the University of Central Florida. I believe in the power of mindfulness and I integrate these techniques into each session.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love being able to listen to peoples stories and help them find ways to cope and improve their quality of life. I am present and in the moment when working with clients. By truly listening to others, I feel I can build a connection and help them through some of the greater challenges they have faced. To be able to be part of a person's journey is truly an honor for me.
