Being human means being vulnerable; everyone faces personal or relationship challenges. My work is guided by a belief that having vulnerabilities does not mean you need to be "fixed."I believe that change occurs from the inside out. Sometimes it's hard to see what is possible. I believe that the full range of possibilities for change can best be accessed through greater awareness of yourself and your environment. I will work with you in a way that suits you best, helping you to get past the places you and your partner may be stuck.

More Info About My Practice

Current struggles may be linked to past experiences that have not been fully healed. Unresolved trauma, whether from early childhood wounds or a specific incident, can lead to shame, anxiety, depression and hopelessness. It can cast a long shadow over one's relationships with a partner, family, children, friends and colleagues, as well as negatively affect productivity and creativity. Using an approach that mind and body and increases well-being through helping you to make sense of your experiences and empower you to heal. I am also a Registered Art Therapist and have extensive experience working with the creative process, which, when combined with therapy, can offer a powerful avenue for expression and understanding that goes beyond words.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

I often hear from clients that working with me is different than their previous experiences in therapy. When you are my client, I respect and honor the commitment you are making by coming to therapy and, in return, I deeply commit to the work we engage in together. The therapy process is about you and, as such, I have long believed it should be demystified and transparent. I may have expertise and knowledge, but you are the expert on your own life. My hope is that in our time together you will gain new insights and skills that you can use throughout your life.
