My Approach to Helping
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and compassion-focused to provide culturally-competent care. I tailor each therapy session using evidence-based psychotherapy integration of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mind-Body and Neuroscience-based approaches to meet the needs of my clients and support their goals as we work together on their journey of healing and growth.

Our appointments are virtual as we are no longer seeing clients for in person services. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily closed our offices and moved exclusively to telemental health services and teletherapy via our secure, HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform or by phone.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
The foundations of a strong therapeutic alliance is built on warmth, empathy, sensitivity, and authenticity. This cultivates safety and trust in our work together, as we safely move through the process of change as we take steps together towards healing. By attuning to the present moment during our sessions, I'm able to safely guide my clients to process their distressing thoughts and feelings while strengthening their skills to help them manage these overwhelming emotions and overcome obstacles in their daily lives.
