My Approach to Helping
I received my doctorate in clinical psychology and am completing the licensure process. I provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults concerned about a variety of life issues including child development and parenting, child and adolescent identity formation, gender and sexuality concerns, family and couples discord, and male and female trauma survival. I consider my clients, regardless of age or life circumstance, to be whole people who have an innate ability to be happy and successful in school, work, and relationships. I focus on difficulties that may make this harder for some, including depression, anxiety, family conflict, child emotional disruption, peer discord and bullying, work and relationship challenges, and sexual trauma. In addition to my clinical practice, I am an instructor at the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology teaching a course in theories of psychological development across the life span.
