My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people deepen their understanding of themselves, develop a stronger sense of self, improve relationships with others, and alleviate psychological symptoms. I take an evidence-based, integrative approach to therapy, in which I combine elements of various treatment modalities to best suit the needs of my clients. This approach allows me to create a dynamic treatment plan based on the current scientific literature, which I believe is the most effective way to address a client’s goals for therapy.
I work hard to establish a space of trust and compassion, and I believe having a strong relationship between the client and therapist is the foundation for making progress. I have a genuine investment in my clients’ well-being, and I work hard to listen, ask good questions, and understand each individual’s narrative and context as fully as possible.
