My Role as a Therapist

My role is to both guide and celebrate your child's journey. I believe that children need a space that is non-contingent and open to free expression. My role is to help create that space.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

'Disorder' can be a scary word, and may not fit all children or adolescents. My approach is to use labels as an empowerment tool, using the label in efforts to receive services and also foster a better understanding of self. I believe all people have areas of strength and continued growth, and all people can benefit from a space to discuss and celebrate growth.
