My Approach to Helping
Therapy can be the boost your relationship/marriage needs to be what it once was or what you would like it to be despite the challenges of infidelity, inability to communicate, boundary issues, different spending habits, struggle with work life balance, starting a new family, etc. Therapy can also be the boost your family needs to adjust to different life changes such as divorce, finance issues, ill family members, school problems, grief issues and many other issues that cause conflict or alter life as you once knew it. You don't have to suffer in silence. Therapy can serve as a tool to promote mental wellness.
I believe in taking a collaborative approach to therapy and promoting autonomy in clients. I use solution focused therapy to help clients develop a vision of what they want their lives to look like. This type of approach empowers clients because it believes that clients are already equipped with the skills they need to make changes in their lives.
