My Approach to Helping
I believe that everyone has inherit worth and purpose in this life despite the burdens or wounds that we have encountered along the way. My approach is always to ultimately provide you with a collaborative, safe, and compassionate therapeutic relationship. I find it a miracle to assist and walk alongside people who work towards understanding and healing. Rumi said â€œThe wound is the place where the light enters you.â€ By shedding light into and mending your pain or struggle, I can help you transform it into a source of resiliency and positive purpose.

I have experience with a variety of issues. Areas of clinical focus are family of origin issues, trauma, past abuse, womenâ€™s issues (including parenting and postpartum Depression), adolescent issues, Depression, Anxiety, perfectionism, shame, grief and loss, and divorce and betrayal trauma.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
In my past, I too have used therapy as a way to heal and improve my life. I undstand the hesitancy to engage in a process that is unknown to you. There are many misconceptions about what therapy is like or how long it has to be. Most of the answers to these questions depend on your specific needs and concerns. Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
I often hear from others that they could never do therapy because seeking help outside of themselves somehow conveys a message of weakness or incapability. This could not be farther from the truth! Reaching out to receive learning and support shows strength and humility. We cannot always have ALL the answers! I also believe we are put on this earth to have relationships and connections, many of which, are to serve the purpose in helping and lifting others.
