My Approach to Helping
For moms and moms-to-be, summer means more chaos, more planning, and more possible conflicts. It feels overwhelming to have a new schedule every week and balance your work with the ever constant changes. When talking to friends, everyone is busy and somehow they seem like they are fairing better than you. No one is complaining, but something feels off. Bedtimes are later, friends are traveling, and a mix of exhaustion and despair strikes. Everyone else is having an amazing summer, why does it feel so isolating?

Therapy is a space to get your life back together. We figure out what's working and what isn't. Then work through ways to implement change and find balance to help you get out there and experience that summer fun.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
We all feel intimidated when seeking a therapist and many of us question, will this even help? When you find a therapist you feel comfortable with your perspective starts to shift. There's a new sense of hope that maybe you don't have to lock all of your problems and feelings away. We feel liberated in our ability to say things we never allow ourselves to say and consider things we don't allow ourselves to think. Freedom to explore your emotions allows for your to gain clarity into what you want to change and how you want to create balance. Therapy then provides a space to learn and practice tools related to your goals and vision.
Therapy isn't forever, it's a space to explore your feeling freely, learn, and grow. If you need that space to realize yourself, take a chance and call me.
