My Approach to Helping
If you are thinking about therapy, you probably have already decided on some level that you want and deserve a different experience than what you are currently having. That may mean learning to manage your anxiety, exploring personal values, learning to set boundaries at work and in your relationships, questioning your internal monologues, treating yourself with the kindness you give to others or finding a way to live with past experiences that isn't so painful.
Hello, I'm Melissa. Since you're here, I imagine you are trying to figure out if I can be of help to you. So, let me tell you a little about myself and what I do. I work primarily with clients struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and Traumatic experiences. In therapy, we work on moving towards a future that is better than what you're experiencing now.
In therapy, we learn about ourselves in order to identify the ways in which we want to grow and work to facilitate those changes.
