My Approach to Helping

My approach is integrative and effective.
With creativity, expertise, flexibility, and attunement my approach to healing and restoration revolves around the connection which exists between the mind, body, and the way we interact with the world around us.
I integrate a combination of evidenced based practices as well as focus on creating a physical tool box of strategies which will help to calm your nervous system. Nature, humor, and relief are threaded throughout nearly every session.

Your body is wise. Emotions and physical sensations give information about what is needed. I incorporate the science of the brainbody connection and center the wisdom of your heart, mind, and body.

More Info About My Practice

InVision Therapy is located on the boarder of Burnsville and Savage, on Sunset Pond. My office has windows which looks out into the trees over Sunset Pond. I provide in office and telehealth appointments.
At InVision Therapy you will find an open chair, ear, mind, and heart. Come in, have a seat, and let’s journey forward together.
From providing services on the street, in homes, schools, prison, and on reservations, my training and experiences have created a robust tool box which I bring into the work I do.

Groups I Work With

I work with adolescent and adult folks who have experienced developmental trauma, recent trauma, high levels of anxiety, or a significant event (becoming a parent, starting college, death of a loved one, coming out, changing jobs, etc) which has disrupted life. The people who come to see me are generally working very hard to "be okay" and struggling to "just get by." They have a hard time feeling good enough, no matter what they do. Sleep, social relationships, and the day to day activities of life are a struggle. They are searching for hope, change, and relief.
