My Approach to Helping
You are courageously looking to heal and overcome what you are going through and you want to feel understood, cared for, and important. You need someone that really gets what you are going through and will always be on your side. It can be really hard to trust people, I get it and I can earn your trust and help you. Your trust and comfort are my first priority. You may feel like a mess right now but you are never as strong and brave as when you reach out and ask for help. Nervous about coming to talk to me? I can bring my therapy dog, Sailor and the therapy to you! He is super friendly and calm and often helps my clients have something to focus on and find comfort from dogs.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
Having PTSD myself for the past 13 years I know what it is like to feel chronically angry, fearful and numb. My own journey overcoming my condition means that I can relate and that I never judge.
