My Approach to Helping
"Honor your past. MAKE your future."
I am a clinical and consulting psychologist who has also held leadership positions in various sectors, leading complex projects to completion. My hybrid professional experience lends itself to a unique problem-solving approach to therapy. I have a warm, conversational style but am focused on tangible, measurable outcomes. At my core, I am a problem solver. I love what I do and you will experience that as a client.
When you think about 2018--what are you committed to investing in? Are YOU on the list? What does investing in you actually look like? It may not be therapy or coaching-believe me, it is certainly not for everyone. BUT. If you have considered it in the past-maybe this is your year?

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
I have spent thousands of hours helping individuals, couples, and companies make better futures for themselves. Great therapy changes lives! It is not endless hours of sitting, talking, and having someone ask you "how do you feel about that?" like a robot. I take it very seriously that I get to support/coach/watch people heal and transform. Fresh eyes on a problem, skill building, new tactics to approach old symptoms, and identifying feasible motivators for behavior change- all with a trusted person without an agenda in a safe space- make for great therapy.
If we live to be 90 years old, we get about 48,000,000 minutes on this earth. Every choice we make is a currency transaction. Asking "Is this how I want to be spending my minutes?" can guide you through some tough choice points; Do you really need to send that angry email? Engage with that emotional vampire? Eat that bag of chips? A great therapist can help you roadmap a better future for yourself-and your family.
