My Approach to Helping

I am a queer, person-centered, existential therapist and have experience working with folks experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. I am LGBTQ2S+ allied and sex work affirming. My therapeutic work is rooted in nonviolence and my macro work is focused on uprooting systemic oppression.

Deciding to enter into therapy can be an experience that is equally exciting and scary. I am here to help ease the fear and work with you on achieving the future you envision. I believe you have the skills and strengths to overcome the obstacles you face and I cannot wait to join you on the journey.
I believe individuals develop coping skills and patterns that are incompatible with their personal values as a result of systemic injustices, learned behaviors and traumatic events. I work with clients who are ready to challenge those patterns in a supportive environment.
