When we avoid dealing with painful emotions, they re-emerge in other areas of our lives. Many of the 'problems' we bring to therapy are reactions to unresolved trauma, hurt, or grief. The methods we use to avoid the realization of our inner hurt tends to bring about more hurt and sets the stage for a vicious cycle. Sex, anger, depression, emptiness, longing, eating, and overcompensation are just a few symptoms of deeper work that needs to be done. My style of therapy focuses on confronting painful emotions to understand its process in emotional reactivity. My role is to help you map your own cycle and make necessary changes.

More Info About My Practice

There are very few places where you can truly express how you feel without judgment. I offer you that space. In therapy, you can cry, get angry, grieve, and process inadequacies, longing, fears, and pain in a safe space.

With flexible scheduling and tech-savvy modes of communicating, therapy is accessible and modern.

My Role as a Therapist

My role is to help you understand your cycle of emotional reactivity. Whether it is self-sabotage, acting out, avoidance, irritability, or unsuccessful relationships, I am here to track to the process with you. Through this, I hope to help you understand the factors that contribute to the cycle, the meaning and function of the cycle, what you really need, and how to change the cycle. My role is not to lecture, criticize, judge, or moralize you. I am a 'process consultant'.
