My Approach to Helping
I have found that a combination of techniques and approaches are useful in treating individuals and families. My therapy style is integrative in an effort to accommodate your needs. Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal, Gottman Method, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychology, Play Therapy, Psycho-Education, and Systems Theory.

Education:
I achieved a Post-Masters Educational Specialist degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The College of New Jersey. I have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling & School Counseling from New Jersey City University. I have a bachelor’s degree in History Secondary Education from The College of New Jersey.
Experience:
I am currently a Licensed Associate Counselor, working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. I am also a licensed school counselor in the State of New Jersey. After working as a high school teacher, I realized that my true passion was connecting with people on a more personal level to help them achieve their full potential. I became a School Counselor and a Licensed Associate Counselor in order to do so. Throughout my graduate internships and recent clinical counseling roles, I gained experience working with a variety of populations and ages.
Hobbies/Interests:
I love spending time with my family and friends. I am a dedicated life-learner and enjoy exposing myself to different cultures and perspectives. I enjoy cooking, baking, and listening to music.
