My Approach to Helping
One of the most important components of successful therapy is finding someone who can help you independently manage life's difficulties. My goal is to assist you in developing the insight necessary to truly understand yourself, your relationships and your life so that you can deal with everyday setbacks or major life upheavals. I will help you become more resilient so you can move through challenging times while continuing to grow in positive ways.
My approach is holistic, supportive and engaged. I will help you clarify immediate issues and make changes toward a life of strength and resilience. I work with children, adolescents, adults in individual, couples and family therapy. My treatment is tailored to the needs of each client. I use a cognitive behavioral, interpersonal or family systems approach.
My areas of interest are depression, anxiety and trauma-related issues including PTSD. I focus on overall wellness, including diet, exercise and stress management. Finding the right "fit" with a therapist is the key to a successful outcome. Please email or call me to schedule an appointment.
