My Approach to Helping
If you find yourself at the beginning of something, in the messy middle, or at the end trying to pick up the pieces and move on... you don't have to do this alone. Let's work together to figure out the way forward towards more freedom and authenticity for the life ahead of you. Often my clients are in a stuck place, a life transition, grieving a loss, or wanting to change relational patterns. I see clients with a variety of needs and areas they want to focus on or improve. I am particularly attuned to addressing the specific healing needs of the highly sensitive person and those recovering from abuse and Complex PTSD. I am often described as warm, open-minded and kind, but not afraid to give honest feedback.
My primary therapy methods are attachment-based, psychodynamic, and narrative. I use story work and Internal Family Systems (parts work) to address trauma. I pay attention to clients in their own unique context, understanding that individuals come to therapy from diverse backgrounds and intersecting identities.
