My Approach to Helping
When you are stressed out, wired, overwhelmed by emotions or negative self-talk, forgetful and fatigued there is often a mismatch between your needs for rest and relaxation, sleep and the nutrition your body and mind needs to rejuvenate and successfully integrate distressing life events into satisfying resolution or workable and adaptive solutions.
Additionally, interpersonal and spiritual connection are often overlooked factors in resolving distressing emotions or feelings of loneliness and isolation.
I start my work with clients by doing a full psycho-social assessment including taking into account nutrition, relaxation, social connection and exercise habits. For many, a few tweaks to these important areas may be just as important as targeting an underlying trauma or stressful life event that can be fully integrated with targeted EMDR therapy sessions.
I am passionate about helping my clients in their journey to create their healthiest and happiest lives by offering my unique integrative approach. This approach includes resolving underlying emotional conflicts, distressing memories or trauma with EMDR therapy, restoring physical energy with optimal nutrition practices and coaching around lifestyle practices to enhance spiritual and community connections.
