We all have within ourselves a reservoir of inner strengths, talents and gifts, to find our own solutions and answers to change oftimes long-standing, negative self-messages that no longer serve us. If you are motivated to explore new ways of thinking, feeling and interacting, you can open the door to improved health on every level. And as a therapist, I welcome the opportunity to join you on your healing journey.

I use a holistic approach, with a focus on Mindful Self-Awareness, Cognitive-Behavioral, Traditional Psychotherapy, and most importantly, what works for you, the client.

More Info About My Practice

I have worked extensively with women survivors of abuse and neglect and their children, older teens in foster care and young adults moving toward independence.

I am also focused on work with older adults in the transition from full time work to retirement and/or semi-retirement. This can be a challenging time, having identified with work roles, and exploring "what comes next" can bring anxiety and uncertainty. It can also be an exciting time to open to new possibilities, and therapy can be a way to explore those possibilities and opportunities in a positive and creative way.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I find tremendous satisfaction being a facilitator of healing. Having experienced challenges in my own past, I appreciate the value of professional support to explore blocks to honoring past suffering and feel privileged to pass on practices of self-compassion and self-love. As a therapist, I feel I receive as much as I give. I enjoy the work of partnering with clients to lift and support mental and emotional health, and feel this brings a spirit and an attitude of hope to my clients.
