My Approach to Helping

Over the years, I have taken a liking to working with adolescents and young adults. While teens are resistant at times, they are ready to make changes to help them feel better once they let their guard down. Young adults often have a plan of what they want to improve and are aware of the strengths that they already possess.

I aim to create an environment where clients feel as if they can communicate their feelings, thoughts, and concerns without feeling as if they are being judged. So I often use personclient-centered therapy. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy (TFCBT), Family Systems Therapy (FST), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I am a virtual practice so all appointments are conducted via phone or video. Currently I am only accepting private pay clients in Oklahoma. For Colorado and Florida clients, I am both private pay and credentialed with Aetna, Cigna and Optum. I also offer a sliding scale (based on availability) and superbills if requested for reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please contact me for more details.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

More Info About My Practice

In my practice, I have a program called One Step Ahead (OSA) that helps individuals manage new life transitions.
This is not therapy. Instead, I will help you learn how to effectively navigate these transitions in a variety of ways.
OSA will be starting its first support groups beginning on November 14. Currently, these groups are only for college students.
However, new groups will begin in January 2023.
