My Approach to Helping
I offer therapy to people who want to create positive, lasting changes in their relationships and lives. I offer counseling that promotes healing, encourages understanding, and unlocks potential in a safe, supportive environment.
Unresolved emotional challenges can stifle your creativity, ambition, confidence, and relationships. Loss and trauma can cause depression, sadness, and pain that inhibit your potential.
I rely on an empathic approach to therapy. I respect personal values, choices, and lifestyles. I use interactive talk therapy combined with other techniques, such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). The presenting problems are first alleviated. Profound change and personal growth are then able to take place through understanding and healing of the deeper underlying issues.
