My Approach to Helping

I provide psychotherapy to ease concerns and feelings of discomfort that arise from feelings of anxiety and depression. Fear, anger, shame, sadness, and guilt could be deliberating if not processed adequately. Feelings of stress and inner discomfort result from unresolved issues that the self needs response and understanding to keep moving forward. Worries create chaos, and chaos needs to be addressed to be understood and changed. The psychotherapy techniques I use to ease client issues and discomfort include cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) skills, client-centred, compassion, emotional and solution focus therapy, talk therapy, psychoeducation, frameworks of attachment, and family systems.

More Info About My Practice

I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, self-compassion, the client-centered framework, and talk therapy techniques in my work. I am available to support clients in developing strategies to deal with emotional challenges such as sadness, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship struggle, anger, and loss. I am also available to work with youth and families facing emotional and behavioural concerns.
