My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is simple, let me help you get back to feeling like yourself again. The most vulnerable stage in a woman's life is the period around motherhood: pregnancy, postpartum life changes, miscarriage, abortion, grief, and loss over the tremendous pain or numbness that comes from the loss of a baby. Or the grief that comes from missing the life you used to have. Feeling ashamed for voicing thoughts or feelings that your friends, family, society tells you that you are not supposed to feel. Feeling so out of your normal self that you can't even ask for help, or scared of what it might mean if you do tell someone. I am here to tell you that "you are not alone, you are not to blame, with help you will be well".
