There are many events that can cause chaos in life. I look to provide an environment and approach that allows you to feel grounded, calm and allow you to feel more in control of your life.

My approach to helping people is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard. I look to form an authentic, mutual connection with others that allows me to be in a supportive role. The supportive role is to assist in overcoming negative coping skills, building healthy relationships, working through life transitions and optimally achieving life goals people have for themselves.

More Info About My Practice

Toby is a 12lb shih tzu that is available to be in sessions with you if you find that he would aid in the therapy session. He loves riding in the car, chicken flavored treats, napping and being around people.
I do offer a sliding scale, and recommend getting in touch with me if you are concerned about cost.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Therapy is a wonderful way for you to feel empowered, and have control in your life. It is not for flawed human beings. It is for people who need to collect their thoughts, make up their own minds about what works for their life. We are so impacted by the opinions of family, friends, even strangers, that we do not allow ourselves to figure out what we really want in our lives.
Therapy does not mean you are weak. It means you have the strength to take a closer look at yourself, and enhance your life in a way most people are too afraid of.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

This alliance is important, you go to therapy to start trusting someone that will help you. It can be hard to trust other people with your wellbeing. That is what therapists are for! If you don't trust me, I will not be able to help you. So, our alliance is the first priority!
