My Approach to Helping
I approach therapy with each individual by first communicating something about our common humanity. I communicate this by demonstrating a willingness to listen and understand. When people come in to discuss their issues one can fairly conclude their needs are great.

Some of the Interventions commonly used in my practice are:
Supportive, decision making and problem-solving, emotional reprocessing, monitored gains, coping techniques, cognitive restructuring, assertiveness training, thought stopping, conflict resolution, attention refocusing
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
All sessions are 45 minutes in duration. Weekly therapy is recommended for most individuals. When needed, the frequency is increased.
