My Approach to Helping

I believe that the foundation which underlies healing and growth is opening to acceptance of exactly who we are, and where we find ourselves, in each moment. As we come into acceptance, our grip on our problem, loosens, actually allowing us to see the bigger picture. When we let go of judgment, even for a moment, we free ourselves to walk around a problem and view it from different angles. We gain a more multifaceted view of our lives. We open to our own creative process, and we can tap into the natural flow of change that has been there all along. "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers.
