Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
It is important that clients can feel safe and supported so clients can share concerns and life events without fear of judgment or feeling shamed in any way. Rapport develops between client and therapist who is a good listener, communicator and has patience. The therapist ought to be able to tune into client's needs helping the client to feel understood. The therapist should have done her/his own inner work so she/he has clarity and can put client needs first and foremost.
