My Approach to Helping
Hello, I understand that depression and anxiety of all kinds, can be a huge weight bare. Past traumas can haunt us and lead to a mix of feelings of including anger and hopelessness . I work with people who face many difficulties including relationship difficulties (with family, friends, and partners) and coping with major life transitions such as grief, loss, or divorce. Together we work to deepen your personal insight with the goal of gaining greater control over your thoughts and emotions. I have found that evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Emotion Focused Therapy, can be helpful with the right therapist skilled in adapting the right therapy to the right client.
My years of training and experience allows me to tailor my therapeutic approach to the client's need. I offer genuine care and insightful questions to help you feel "unstuck." During therapy, I strive to create a caring and inviting atmosphere with an open heart and mind, to guide my clients towards greater insight and happiness.
