Luz Vargas has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults using individuals, couples, family therapy from various socio-cultural-economic backgrounds.
Luz specializes in treating anxiety, depression, adjustment to life transitions, trauma using a holistic and strength-based approach to help clients increase insight, as well as simultaneously work towards applying skills learned through therapy to start making changes to help get closer to your goal. Luz is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, STAIR, TF-CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Behavioral Activation Therapy, and Brief Strategic Therapy. Luz works remotely and is available for teletherapy.
