My Approach to Helping

After more than 20 years in practice I am more passionate than ever in helping individuals get out of their ruts, escape from toxic relationships, and ultimately to approach life with greater confidence guided by a personal code.
If you believe you are the victim of another's toxic narcissism, you will want to learn how to recover from the traumas accumulated during your relationship with him/her. My strategy is to get right to the heart of the problem and to develop your plan of action toward getting yourself back. This can be accomplished without having to delve into the horrid details of past traumas, which is a good thing. You don't want to be re-traumatized while you are learning to become the source of your own growth.

More Info About My Practice

Are you:
Having difficulty making decisions in your relationships?
Having difficulty identifying your own feelings?
Having difficulty handling anger, either your own or another's?
Having difficulty communicating and getting your needs in your relationship?
Valuing the approval of others more than valuing yourself?
Trying to leave an abusive relationship only to be sucked right back into an abusive cycle?

If one or more of these describes your pattern and you want to learn how to do relationships differently, I can help.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am adept in helping you get to the heart of the matters that are troubling and discovering how what you experienced in your childhood continues to interfere with how you wish to be in relationships.

I am skilled in helping you learn to manage yourself in times when your emotions are running high and to problem solve in a manner that makes you feel confident and self-assured.

Therapy is work. And change, like all things, requires rehearsal, practice, and refinement.

I have the skill in walking you through the changes you want to see in yourself.
