My Approach to Helping
I primarily use relational psychotherapy. This mode of therapy acknowledges that early experiences, as well as the present, shape us. We have learned how to be, often by looking at what others want or need from us. Many of us hope to focus less on how other define us, and instead meet life on our own terms. Therapy allows us to explore these patterns, so you can tune into your inner self and make positive shifts. Your relationship with me is free of judgment, and therefore your sessions are a safe place for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. I will bring everything I have to the therapy relationship: warmth, insight, humour, attention, and life experience.
