My Approach to Helping
As an experienced therapist I work with women's problems and concerns as well as men's issues. I also work with individuals who struggle with addictions andor substance abuse problems. I deliver authentic care, understanding, and hope to those who come to me for help. I have personal knowledge with a multitude of life experiences which benefit my clients in a way that aids in a better understanding of the challenges they face and of themselves. Everyone is unique in their needs. My approach is one that focuses on finding the key to unlocking the mystery of each client's difficulties in order to help place them on the road to recovery.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I often work with women who struggle with stress, anxiety andor depression. I have been witness to the many problems in their relationships with family, friends, boyfriends, husbands, or partners. Many times the various stresses in their lives can become completely unmanageable. My job as a therapist is to assist them in working through the adjustments needed in order to get them back on the right track of their life journey. Recovery can be hard work and includes lots of talking about thoughts and feelings, as well as hopes and dreams. But in the end the outcome is a healthier, more satisfied individual.
I also enjoy working with men who need a new perspective on their life whether it's their job, their relationship, or their family. As a therapist I can help them find workable solutions for situations like differing opinions or dealing with the many life obstacles that get thrown into their path, and learning how to "fight fair" while still maintaining their cool.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I chose the field of counseling because of an inner self-drive to aid others along the way in their life journey. My role as therapist has given me the opportunity to not only teach others about themselves, but has also given me the chance to learn about myself as well. Each client I share the journey with helps strengthen the knowledge and wisdom I possess and gives me the power to turn it around and give it right back to those clients I am helping. I see what I do as a calling and a true gift and it is my duty to fulfill whatever plan is in store for me.
