How Psychotherapy Can Help
Have you ever felt sad or angry and you don't know why? When a relationship ends do you feel lost and lonely? Life has its ups and downs and when I, you or a loved one experiences trauma, loss, abandonment or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for your life to fall to pieces. I bring my very deep passion for healing to my work. I support you in positive healing so you can restore meaning, purpose and connection back into your life. Psychotherapy has helped me and can help you cope with feelings and symptoms, and change behavior patterns that may contribute to your problem.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I am passionate about my counseling practice and love to help people to discover or rediscover and express their full potential. Unlocking the root of the problem and bringing it to the light to heal is fascinating and transformative. Psychotherapy has changed my life and the lives of so many others. I love my role as a therapist.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
I also have had negative therapy experiences in therapy and this has brought awareness to myself and how I treat my clients. I treat my clients without judgement or condemnation. No therapist is the same and just like any other profession we have the good, the bad and the ugly. I hope you will give therapy a chance and be ready for a pleasant surprise as you find support and comfort in the choice of returning to therapy.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
The body, mind, and emotions are functional units that work together within each of us, just like the nuts, bolts and gears within a car work. As a society, we tend to our physical health with diet, exercise and medical attention. It's the same with our emotional health. In order to keep growing in higher consciousness and emotional stability we must nurture and attend to our emotional health and well-being. Just because I work out for a year of my life does not guarantee me physical health the rest of my life, I must attend to it on a regular basis. This is the same for my mental and emotional well-being, it must be tended to and taken care of regularly.
