My Approach to Helping
I believe that every person has a unique set of circumstances that differentiate our mental health and ways of thinking and acting. Because we all differ, I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. I believe in nurturing and fostering a strong healthy relationship that enables the expression of one’s own uniqueness which in turn helps to promote a therapeutic mental wellness that is tailor made for each individual.
My primary goal is to inspire personal mental wellness which extends beyond each therapeutic session. I seek to instill coping skills that one can use in every aspect of life. Although life presents many unique challenges, I believe each individual can make the best out of his or her situation.
I enjoy taking road trips with my family and touring through American's beauty. During each road trip we explore historical sites in the cities we visit. I enjoy nature, going on hikes and swimming in the lake or ocean. All sports are a big deal in our family but playing them and supporting our home town teams. I enjoy listening to audio books and watching Survivor with my boys.
