My Approach to Helping
Struggling with depression or anxiety? Want to reclaim your livelihood? I'd love to meet you! I tailor my approach based on your personality, strengths, and needs. Past experiences can have profound impacts on your daily living and are at the heart of my work. I enjoy helping both first time clients as well as experienced clients wanting to continue their personal journey. I work well with people who want to try something new and are looking for a safe space to discuss their concerns. Sometimes people need a bit of extra help to do important and life changing work. I love to incorporate your support systems and relationships with others to help you improve.
My main areas of interest include anxiety, depression, men's issues, relationships, trauma, and using play and inner child work. I believe that most anyone benefits from looking back on their past and learning more about how they got where they are today.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Taking the first step into talking about some of your concerns takes bravery, guts, and faith. Many people find themselves going back and forth about the decision to seek out help. Know that you are not alone and that for others, asking for help can be a scary thing. Working up the courage to ask for help can mean a lot of things for different people, but for me, it means that you are willing to take a chance on someone to help you improve your life.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I know what it's like to be the one "sitting on the couch." Like everyone else, I'm not perfect and have had to work through my own concerns and problems. It's one of the most humbling experiences a clinician can have; we are human, after all. My own journey enlightens and allows me to relate better to my client's experiences in session with me.
