My Approach to Helping

Do you feel helpless as your teen struggles with anxiety, low self-esteem, or overwhelming emotions? I specialize in helping preteens, adolescents, and young adults manage anxiety and depression. With experience in both private practice and as a school therapist, my goal is to empower clients to reach their full potential. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I also support teens and families navigating the challenges of autism and attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD). My brief, solution-focused approach equips clients with practical skills for effective and lasting change in a short time.

As a parent myself, I understand the challenges of the teen years and early adulthood. My approach is founded on empathy and compassion. I also offer coaching for parents to reduce family conflict and increase harmony. My support extends to the entire family, ensuring everyone feels understood. Seeking help is a courageous first step.

Building a strong, therapeutic relationship is essential, and finding a therapist you connect with is a critical part of the process. I invite you to email me to request a free 15-minute phone consultation to ensure we’re a good fit. It's time for you and your child to live your best lives!
