On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

You're not alone! As with anything that brings about change, the prospect of starting psychotherapy can feel like a relief, but is can also be a bit scary. Overcoming that nervousness is worth it. That's because any time your quality of life isn't quite what you want it to be, psychotherapy can help.

People go to psychotherapy for a variety of reasons. Some people seek psychotherapy because they feel sad, anxious or stressed. Others may have short-term problems they need help navigating. For example, they may be experiencing challenges with a relationship, feeling overwhelmed by a new job, or grieving the loss of a friend or family member.
