My Approach to Helping
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Kean University. My specific experience includes eight years as a School Counselor, working with elementary, middle and high school students, as well as five years as an in-home counselor working with adults. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My counseling philosophy is that all people should be able to access mental health services in order to overcome challenges that may keep them from living their best lives. Learning to cope with stressors and move beyond traumatic experiences is essential for overall health.
I have one daughter and one son. I enjoy spending time with my children, bike riding, hiking, and traveling.
