I'd like to invite you into the world of therapy. It's a place where you feel accepted yet challenged. A place that is safe yet energized. Throughout my career, I've learned to create this balance while offering a place to explore your inner world and help you to navigate through tough times. My true passion is helping individuals to find their higher purpose in life and this can sometimes mean digging deep into old patterns of behaviors or difficult experiences that have occurred in one's life. I believe that empowerment leads to enlightenment and that everyone has the capacity to reach this in their lives.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Many years ago, psychotherapy was an extensive process that was meant to find the neurosis and "fix" it. We've come a long way and this is no longer the case, at least not in my book. I see all individuals as basically healthy and functional. Throughout our lives, we experience periods of expansions and contractions. Expansiveness occurs when life is good and moving in the right direction. It is in the period of contraction that we might feel the most "unhealthy" or "damaged". Yet this is the state that offers the most hope for growth. This is the time to reach out and take the hand of someone who can guide you back to homeostasis and beyond!
