My Approach to Helping
Life is a journey and sometimes along the way we are faced with tragedies, obstacles, and challenges that may require the assistance of a therapist. I too have faced many life issues and I understand the importance of having a compassionate and qualified therapist and/or coach to overcome such difficulties. My approach to therapy is to provide care that is non-judgmental, validating, and compassionate in a safe and secure environment. Working with me as your therapist you will gain insight into your issues, awareness of your strengths, learn the necessary skills to overcome challenges, and develop and reach your goals.

What Makes up a Problem?
Often a problem occurs due to a negative life event which leaves us feeling distressed and overwhelmed. You may not feel comfortable talking to family and/or friends about the situation and try to keep it inside. This often makes you feel alone and confused as to how to solve the problem or move beyond the problem. You may or may not have a good support system which also influences how intense the problem is or may seem. Sometimes a problem can seem insurmountable, especially when you're unable to discuss it with someone who is non-judgmental and objective. This is why therapy is so important. It provides you with a positive way to share and work through past and current issues you may be facing. It can also provide you with the necessary skills and strategies to overcoming issues so you can move forward in your life.
