My Approach to Helping

For many of us, these past 18 months have challenged our mental health like never before. Chronic stress and anxiety can affect us in ways we hardly realize. It can elicit trauma responses and bring up old wounds and patterns. If you feel that you are struggling and feeling listless and can't seem to put your finger on why, know that you are not alone. I have specific experience with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship troubles, gender identity and sexual orientation exploration, spiritualreligious trauma, and women's issues.
I utilize a combination of experiential and somatic modalities. What that means is I utilize traditional talk therapy and then also move beyond talking and changing thought patterns, to helping you connect more fully with your emotions and your body in order to unearth your own inherent wisdom and intuition that is present within you.
I became a therapist because I truly love the opportunity to walk along side other humans who are also trying to find their way in this complicated world. I couldn't imagine doing anything else for my career. If you are looking for a personable, empathic, and experienced therapist to walk with you wherever you are on your journey, I'd love to hear from you.
