My Approach to Helping
Lindsey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California. Lindsey graduated with Distinguished Honors from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Lindsey has extensive education, training, and experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. She emphasizes culturally sensitive care and prioritizes honesty in the therapeutic relationship. Lindsey utilizes a direct, authentic, and solution-focused approach to therapy. In working with her clients, she utilizes a strengths-based approach to conceptualization and evidence-based practices, such as trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
