My Approach to Helping
I imagine you're reading this because you're feeling some discomfort in your life. You've taken the first step to making changes. We all experience difficult times in our lives when we may feel stuck, depressed, anxious; that the stumbling blocks we're up against are too difficult to walk through. I can help you with that. I will help you recognize your strengths so you will be able to use them to move through these bumps in the road, transitions, crises, or other difficulties you're facing.
In therapy with me you will find a safe, comfortable, supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can discuss the difficulties you're experiencing and the uncomfortable feelings you're having. I am down to earth and very interactive in therapy. We will work together every step of the way to help you get to a place where you feel better about yourself, stronger, more able to face what difficulties are in front of you, and ready to make the changes you want to make.
I enjoy my work tremendously and consider each person with whom I work to be special and needing tools, techniques and strategies that are tailor made to their particular needs. In our sessions, you can expect to gain insight, get guidance and leave with something new to think about or try.
